A user can use the break scheduler when it is known that a show won't be released for a certain period. South Park for example has half way the season a break of a few months. Because it's useless to still check for new episodes during this time a user can hold this show until the day the new episode will be released.
The break scheduler can be used in three different ways:
The first option is to set the status of the show immediatly on hold. This is done by checking the 'use break scheduler' checkbox and setting the 'until date'. The show will now be put on hold until the given date on which the status will be set to check again. If the date is set to today the show status will be of course immediately be put on check again.
For the other two ways to use the break scheduler the break scheduler checkbox also has to be checked and the until date has to be set.
The second way to use the scheduler is to let the show be put on hold after finding a certain episode. This is done by checking the 'episode' checkbox and setting the episode number of the latest episode that is released before this break. When this episode is found, ted will put the show on hold until the given date.
The last way is to let ted be put on hold for a certain period. This is done by checking the 'from' checkbox and setting the period in which the show should be put on hold.
