I am currently running the Windows 7 beta with whatever version of Java is automatically downloaded from the java website. When I start TED, it starts up javaw.exe (looking in the Task Manager) but then shuts down after a second or two. No TED icon appears in the tray, and there are no error boxes so I don’t really have an easy way to troubleshoot this issue.

Any ideas? I’ve already tried installing in multiple different locations using the new installer.

Looks like maybe it has something to do with the new system tray (using tedv096):
